Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12th September, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Sumeru Luxuria Private Limited ("Vrenel," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you visit vrenel.com (the "Website") or contact us through it.

Vrenel is committed to handling your personal data responsibly and in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act") and applicable rules made under it, as well as the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder.

Who We Are

Vrenel is a luxury watch and jewellery brand based in Delhi, India. We currently sell exclusively through in-person meetings and do not process any online payments. Registered office: 120-A, Ground Floor, Jain Colony, Veer Nagar, Roop Nagar, Delhi, North Delhi-110007, Delhi, India.

Information We Collect

We may collect the following personal data when you interact with the Website:

  • Contact details you provide directly — such as your name, email address, and phone number, when you fill out an enquiry/contact form, request an appointment, or message us via WhatsApp or email.

  • Automatically collected data — such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

  • Communications — any information you share with us in emails, calls, or messages related to an enquiry or purchase.

We do not collect payment card details on this Website, as all purchases are completed in person.

How We Use Your Information

We use the personal data we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and schedule appointments or viewings;

  • Provide information about our watches, jewellery, and collections;

  • Send you updates about Vrenel, if you have opted in to receive them;

  • Improve and maintain the Website (e.g. through aggregated, non-identifying analytics);

  • Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

We process your personal data only for these specified purposes, and only to the extent necessary ("purpose limitation" and "data minimisation," as required under the DPDP Act).

Legal Basis / Consent

Where we rely on your consent to process personal data (for example, for marketing emails or non-essential cookies), you may withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us at support@vrenel.com. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before withdrawal.

Sharing of Information and Where It Is Stored

We do not sell your personal data. When you submit an enquiry through this Website, that information is:

  • Collected via a form hosted by Framer (our website platform); and

  • Delivered to us by email (Gmail) and stored in a Google Sheets file that we maintain for tracking enquiries.

We do not separately transmit your data to any other party. However, Framer and Google are the underlying service providers we rely on to operate this Website and manage enquiries, and they may store or process data on servers located outside India as part of how their services are run. We have not independently negotiated where these providers host data - this is a function of using their platforms - but we only use established, reputable providers and do not share your information with anyone beyond what's needed to run the Website and respond to your enquiry.

We may also share limited information with:

  • Other service providers who help us operate the Website or communicate with you (e.g. WhatsApp Business), bound by their own confidentiality and security practices;

  • Legal or regulatory authorities, where required by law.

Data Retention

We retain enquiry data (such as your name, email, and phone number) for as long as needed to manage our relationship with you and for our business records — we do not currently delete this data automatically. If you would like your data corrected or deleted, you can request this at any time by contacting our Grievance Officer (mentioned below), and we will act on it in line with your rights under the DPDP Act. Invoicing and tax records for actual purchases are retained separately, as required by law.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act, you (as a "Data Principal") have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you;

  • Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data;

  • Request erasure of your personal data (subject to legal retention requirements);

  • Withdraw consent at any time;

  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity;

  • Register a grievance regarding how your data is handled.

To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer (details in section below).
